Delhi Capitals got much needed win under their belt as they beat Lucknow Super Giants by 6 wickets in a Tata IPL 2024 encounter in Lucknow. It was the second win for the Delhi Capitals in the tournament.

In Reply, Delhi Capitals who are desperate for win having won only one of their 5 matches so far lost David Warner early for 8. His fellow opener Prithvi Shaw scored 32 ( 22 balls , 6 fours) . Making his IPL debut Jake Fraser-McGurk impressed with an attacking 55 ( 35 balls, 3 fours, 5 sixes) . Skipper Rishabh Pant 41 ( 24 balls 3 fours, 3 sixes) . But Pant and Jake fell soon after .
Tristan Stubbs not out 15 ( 9 balls, 1 six) and Shai Hope 11 ( 10 balls 1 four) not out saw DC home by six wickets finishing at 170/ 4 in 18.1 overs. Stubbs hitting the winning shot for a six.
