Versatile actress Tabu has boarded the cast of Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror comedy Bhooth Bangla, headlined by Superstar Akshay Kumar.
Also starring Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
Bhooth Bangla is also the first collaboration between Akshay and Priyadarshan in over 14 years. The duo previously worked on hit films such as Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Tabu made the announcement on social media, Tabu dropped a picture of the clapperboard with “Bhooth Bangla” written on it. Her IG post also included the caption, “Hum yahan bandh hain (We are locked inside)”@tabutiful

Tabu’s latest work was American science fiction series Dune: Prophecy, in which she essayed the role of Sister Francesca.
Bhooth Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films. The film is slated for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.
