After six days since the declaration of the Assembly poll results of Assam on May 2 , where the BJP returned to power the state awaits as to who will be the next chief minister .
Is it incumbent Sarbananda Sonowal who lead the party to victory or the health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma?
To break the deadlock and find a way out Sonowal and Sarma reached Delhi to meet party president J P Nadda . After meeting at Nadda’s residence it was leant from media reports that the BJP legislative party meet will be held in Guwahati on May 9 and the new CM will be known then.
