नए नाम से वही पुराना शेर बेच गए
सपनों के वो फिर से ढ़ेरों ढ़ेर बेच गए…#MakeInIndia is now आत्मनिर्भर भारत, कुछ और भी नया था क्या? pic.twitter.com/2yQhaaJyNF— Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) May 13, 2020
Tharoor tweeted a Hindi couplet to express his views on the subject.
The couplet roughly translates to: “He sold the old couplet/lion with a new name; He sold piles of dreams again.”
The Prime Minister had announced a Rs 20 lakh crore special economic package for the country to become “self-reliant” and deal with COVID-19 crisis.
