After Prime Minister Narendra Modi had lashed out at the Congress during his visit to Rajasthan , Congress state party president Sachin Pilot has hit back at the BJP. He said the PM”s rally did not matter much as it was more on Congress bashing than sops for the state.
He accused the state government of organising the rally for Prime Minister Narendra Modi for political gains.

As the Congress gets ready to take on the Vasundhara Raje government in the assembly elections slated later this year, Pilot reportedly expressed confidence that Congress is competent enough to take on the ruling BJP in all the seats .
There was a rumour that the party may tie up with the BSP as the Congress is mulling a tie – up with the BSP in Madhya Pradesh. Another state that goes to the polls later this year.
