Congress party today fondly remembered former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 33rd death anniversary by paying rich tributes .
The former Prime Minister was assassinated by LLTE suicide bomber during the 1991 General election rally at Sriperumbudur, 40 kms from them Madras on the night of May 21, 1991, 10. 20 PM.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi remembered his father in a emotional tweet, he shared a post and referred to his father’s dreams as his own.

Rahul also shared a childhood photograph of him with his father. In the post, Rahul said, “Father, Your dreams, my dreams, Your aspirations, my responsibilities. Your memories, today and always, always in my heart.”
