The BJP has strongly defended Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the meeting claim by Vijay Mallya. Jaitley had firmly denied any such meeting.
Further it has been proved according to various media reports, that Congress leader P L Punia’s claim of a 20 minute meeting too is apparently weak as the Finance minister on the said day had a busy schedule. Yet, the Congress has not stopped it’s attack on Arun Jaitley .
In his latest charge Congress president Rahul Gandhi has now alleged that it was the “blue-eyed boy” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Central Bureau of Investigation who weakened the lookout notice against fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya and allowed him to flee the country.
Taking to Twitter, Gandhi alleged that it was AK Sharma, a Gujarat-cadre officer in the CBI, who played a crucial role in weakening the lookout notice against Mallya.
CBI Jt. Director, A K Sharma, weakened Mallya’s “Look Out” notice, allowing Mallya to escape.
Mr Sharma, a Gujarat cadre officer, is the PM’s blue-eyed-boy in the CBI.
The same officer was in charge of Nirav Modi & Mehul Choksi’s escape plans. Ooops…

He also alleged that the same officer played a key role in the escape plans of fugitive diamond traders Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.
Mallya’sGreat Escape was aided by the CBI quietly changing the “Detain” notice for him, to “Inform”. The CBI reports directly to the PM. It is inconceivable that the CBI, in such a high profile, controversial case, would change a lookout notice without the approval of the PM.

Gandhi and his party have accused Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley of “helping” Mallya to flee the country after defaulting on bank loans. The Congress has demanded Jaitley’s resignation over the issue and a probe into how Mallya escaped.
For 2.5 yrs Mr Jaitley has hidden from the public & the investigation agencies the meeting, he now suddenly remembers, in which Mr Mallya told him he was leaving for London. This is enough to make his continuance as FM untenable & disgraceful. #ArunJaitleyStepDown
