The nation remembered one of the icons of the freedom struggle , Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 122nd birth anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion inaugurated the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose museum at Red Fort in Delhi . He unveiled the plaque to inaugurate the Museum. The Prime Minister later tweeted his respect for Netaji and vowed to fulfill his ideals and creating a strong India.

The museum showcases various artefacts related to Subhas Chandra Bose and Indian National Army. The artefacts include wooden chair and sword used by the leader, medals, badges, uniforms and other artefacts related to the INA. Modi had laid the Foundation stone of the museum during the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Azad Hind Government in October last year.
