India remembered ‘father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 71st death anniversary . President Ram Nath Kovind, prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi paid their homage.
Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948. The day is now also observed as Martyr’s day.
On visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Salt Satyagraha Memorial in Dandi. He tweeted about it
