The dates of the last session of parliament of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi before the nation goes to the polls for the 2010 Lok Sabha Elections has been announced.
According to media reports, it is likely to be held from January 31 till February 13. It is the budget session and the interim budget is scheduled to be presented on February 1.
With Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley away in the US for medical treatment, the government is tight lipped as to who will present the budget in- case Jaitley is unavailable
President Ram Nath Kovind is likely to address the joint sitting of the two Houses on January 31 and the Economic Survey may also be tabled on the same day.
