Iconic 61 year-old ‘Queen Of Pop’ Madonna is delaying her highly anticipated Madame X tour, due to issues with “highly specialized production elements,” a Live Nation promoter told Variety in a statement.
Madonna is known for pushing the boundaries of song writing in mainstream popular music and for the imagery she uses onstage and in music videos. She has frequently reinvented her music and image while maintaining autonomy within the recording industry
Billboard.com has reported that the tour, originally slated to begin Sept. 12, will kick off five days later on Sept. 17 at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. The Sept. 12 and 14 shows at the venue have been rescheduled to October 10 and 12, respectively, with tickets being honored at the new dates. The Sept. 15 concert, however, has been cancelled and fans will receive refunds automatically.
