After the BJP had left no stone unturned to criticise heavily the Congress manifesto even terming it as anti- national , Congress president Rahul Gandhi returned the fire on the BJP’s 2019 Lok Sabha polls manifesto.
In a blistering attack , Rahul Gandhi said the BJP manifesto was the voice of “an isolated man”, besides being “short sighted” and “arrogant”.
“The Congress manifesto was created through discussion. The voice of over a million Indian people it is wise and powerful,” Gandhi said in a tweet.

The Congress party had dubbed the BJP’s election manifesto a “Jhansa Patra” (deception document) and a “bubble of lies” and said it would have been better had the saffron party issued a “maafinama” instead.
