After days of hectic deliberations , the ruling alliance in Karnataka, The Congress – JD(S) have reached a pact for the Lok Sabha Polls 2019. According to the said agreement tThe Congress will contest 20 seats and JD(S) eight .
The deal was hammered out at a meeting between Congress president Rahul Gandhi and JD(S) secretary general Danish Ali at Kochi in Kerala , the JD (S) said.
The Lok Sabha constituencies that JD(S) will contest are Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Tumkur, Hassan, Mandya, Bengaluru North and Vijayapura.
The Congress on its twitter handle posted the list of the seat arrangement with JD( S)
