Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has treated his fans by releasing the new poster from his upcoming movie titled ‘Gold’ on his Twitter account . The Sabse bada Khiladi of Bollywood recently turned 50. Kumar is currently riding high after the smashing success of his last film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha at the Box- office . Actress Mouni Roy is paired opposite Akshay in this film.

Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the movie is a biopic based on Balbir Singh, who brought home independent India’s first Olympic gold in the 1948 London Olympics. The poster has hues of ‘gold’, so as to evoke memories of the bygone era of 1948, 1952 and 1956.
The Arjuna Award winner and former Indian national team captain, Sandeep Singh has been appointed to improve Akshay Kumar’s hockey skills. The shooting of the movie has been done in Yorkshire and the Midlands, England.
