Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has after a rather slow start on her Bollywood journey has now become a bankable and leading lady.
It has been a steady rise for this star from her debut film in Sujoy Ghosh’s Aladin in 2009 with big stars Amitabh Bachchan, sanjay Dutt and Ritesh Deshmukh. But it was in 2011, she hit the bull’e eye at the Box – office with Mohit Suri’s Murder 2 opposite Emraan Hashmi. It showcased Jacqueline’s sex appeal and her bold glamorous avatar.
There was no looking back since then . With Box- office hits like Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2 in 2012 and later on Abbas Mustan’s Race 2 in 2013, Jacqueline had established herself in Bollywood.
But the film which gave Jacqueline the maximum spotlight and put her in top bracket was Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick in 2014 opposite superstar Salman Khan. The pairing was an instant hit and the film blockbuster.
Jacqueline then went on to team up with superstar Salman Khan again in Race 3 directed by Remo’ D Souza. The chemistry of the duo was electric and set the screens on fire.

Race 3 was released in June 2018 and despite being written off by critics it did well at the Box- office. Though, not on par with Salman’s previous hits but it was nevertheless a money earner.
Jacqueline Fernandez is today a top star and as several big films in her kitty making her a busy star.
The lady besides films has also wowed all with her sensuous hot photo- shoots for magazines and leaving all mesmerised with her charm and beauty.
As she turns a year older , 33, this Sri Lankan beauty with brains has shown that slow and steady can the win the Race ahead.
