BJP has added yet another star sportsperson in the party . The latest to join is badminton superstar Saina Nehwal. She joined the BJP at its headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of senior party leaders.

Later speaking to ANI, She said she was inspired by the work ethic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When she said : “The way Prime Minister works day & night, I like it very much. I like doing something for the country & BJP is a party that is doing good work for the country, I am happy to have joined the party”.
Nehwal , former World number 1 player, is one of the biggest names in Indian badminton and is eyeing a good show at the Tokyo Olympics later this year.
