As India and China engage in yet another face-off in Ladakh border, US President Donald Trump has now offered to mediate between India and China.
Trump made the offer to play mediator on Twitter. “We have informed both India and China that the United States is ready, willing and able to mediate or arbitrate their now raging border dispute. Thank you!” he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

It may be recalled this is not the first time US President Trump had made an offer to mediate in a dispute involving India. He had previously offered to mediate between Indian and Pakistan to resolve the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir imbroglio. India had rejected his offer saying there is no role for third party mediation. And the issue is bilateral one .
