Addressing the real-time challenge of providing spot charging solutions for Electric Vehicles (EVs), India’s first homegrown EV charging solutions provider goEgoNetwork has launched electric 2 wheeler and 3 wheeler charging stations. They fit ideally to meet the needs of smaller private-public spaces like retail outlets, hotels & restaurants, housing societies, etc. The newly launched charging stations are Owl and Robin.
Owl is a 3-socket wall/pole mount AC charging station with OCPP (Open Charge Point Control) Connectivity putting out a charging capacity of 1.1 kW per outlet. It thus allows upto three vehicles to be charged at the same time.
Robin is a single-socket wall/pole mount AC charging station with OCPP Connectivity with a charging output of 3kW, it can be installed for individual use at one’s independent parking space.
The new products support the already existing Albatross 2W/ 3W charging station. Albatross is a 3.3kW product with 3 sockets that can be used to charge up to 3 vehicles at the same time. Many housing societies in Maharashtra have already installed the product.
Adoption of EVs across India is steadfast. However, a robust charging ecosystem in the country remains laggard in meeting the charging demand posed by the existing and prospective EV consumer market. In aiding to bridge this gap better, goEgoNetwork has come up with a range of products to meet the charging infrastructure needs at the housing societies, retail outlets, educational institutes, restaurants, hotels etc.
Speaking about the launch of the charging stations, Sayantan Chakraborti, CEO & Co-founder, goEgoNetwork, said, “In a short span of 6 months we have already launched a good range of products which cater to the charging needs of electric 2, 3 & 4 wheelers. Very soon we will be launching our DC charging stations which will make goEgo the only home grown brand to provide a complete range of charging stations for personal and commercial use.”
goEgoNetwork manufactures its robust range of EV charging stations, for both commercial and domestic usage at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The charging stations are ARAI certified and are built to charge the EV uninterruptedly while meeting the Indian specifications and conditions.
