An authoritative classic on Hindu astrology, this book has been out of print for decades, and was originally published only in hardback. Now it is being published in paperback for the interest to scholars of the subject, astrologers as well as the average interested readers.
Analysing various models for the origin, development, and functioning of yugas, manvantaras, karma, and Hindu astrology as a whole, this book raises questions also about the role of the supernatural and synchronicity. The epilogue includes the author’s reflections on astrology as a whole, religion and science.
