The assembly elections in Haryana has become T20 thriller. Amidst the clash between the BJP and the Congress , a third party Jannayak Janata Party has emerged as a potential game changer and could decide the formation of the next government . It’s leader Dushyant Chautala is likely to play kingmaker in the state.
On the various media reports of Congress offering him CM post he said : :”I have not had any discussions with any one. Decision will be taken only after the final numbers are out”.
In fact, Chautala, speaking to news agency ANI the trends indicated the winds of change were blowing in the state. “Haryana ki janta ka pyar mil raha hai. Badlaav ki nishaani hai. 75 paar toh fail hogaya (for BJP), ab Yamuna paar karne ki baari hai.”
Speaking to NDTV, Chautala added, “Not a single BJP minister is winning in Haryana. BJP won the Lok Sabha polls because of Narendra Modi but when it came to Manohar Lal Khattar, the party is failing,” he said.
Exit polls did predict Chautala will win between seven to 10 seats. When asked whether he will play kingmaker, he said, “There will be a national executive, a legislative party leader will be chosen…such decisions will be taken then.”
