Delhi Daredevils skipper in IPL 2018 Gautam Gambhir has slammed Shahid Afridi following his tweet on Kashmir saying that the Pakistani cricketer “is, as usual, celebrating a dismissal off a no-ball”
It may be recalled that Shahid Afridi, in a tweet, had condemned the recent clampdown on terrorists in the Kashmir Valley and had urged the UN to intervene to stop the bloodshed.
Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?

“Shahid Afridi is, as usual, celebrating a dismissal off a no-ball,” Gambhir said in a tweet while hitting back at Afridi.
Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What’s there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!

Gautam Gambhir got support too. Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar, too lashed out at Afridi and said that if Shahid Afridi is worried about ‘any human rights violations’ in Kashmir, he should first ensure that terrorists from Pakistan do not infiltrate into India and that the Pakistan Army stops supporting the Separatists by closing down the training camps.
Javed Akhtar tweeted, “Dear Mr Afridi, since you want to see a peaceful Jammu and Kashmir sans any human rights violations could you please see to it that Pakistani terrorists stop infiltrations and Pakistan Army stops supporting the Separatists by closing down the training camps? It will greatly help in solving the problem.”
