Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen-fronted web series “Taali” will makes its debut on JioCinema on Independence Day, the streamer announced.
Directed by National award-winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, the biographical drama series will chronicle transgender activist Gauri Sawant’s story of struggle, resilience, and indomitable power. The teaser had already created the buzz around it and Sushmita’s intense performance has been lauded .

It is being produced by Kartk D Nishandar, Arjun Singgh Baran and Afeefa Nadiadwala Sayed.
