On the 29th death anniversary of former prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, his daughter, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra now Congress General secretary, Uttar Pradesh East, got emotional and posted heartfelt tweets remembering her father.
Taking to twitter she wrote , “To be kind to those who are unkind to you; to know that life is fair, no matter how unfair you imagine it to be; to keep walking, no matter how dark the skies or fearsome the storm; .To nurture a strong heart, and fill it with love no matter how great it’s sorrows; these are the gifts of my father’s life.”

Former prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by a LTTE suicide bomber while he was on his way to address a election rally at Sriperumbudur, 40 kilometres from then Madras during the 1991 General Elections.
