Senior Congress leader and former I& B Minister Manish Tewari has hit out at the Modi government over it’s brazen double standards on the security breach issue in parliament .
The Congress leader mentioned the expulsion of TMC MP Mahua Moitra while taking dig at a BJP MP Pratap Simha who allegedly gave the passes for the intruders from the visitors gallery to Lok Sabha . Tewari wrote in X ,
“Someone who allegedly gave a password to someone to ask questions was expelled from Lok Sabha without following due process. Someone who allegedly gave passes to someone’s to smoke bomb the Lok Sabha is not accountable to any process. Double Standards never cease to amaze.”
