Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was spearheading the BJP campaign in Delhi for the assembly elections due on February 8 is confident of BJP forming the government in the national capital.
The party had won 3 seats last time, But according to report by Indian Express, buoyed by the hard- hitting campaign Shah has said that the party is winning more than 45 seats in the 70 member assembly to form the government.
Both the BJP and the incumbent AAP campaigned aggressively to woo the voters with numerous road shows and rallies.
Congress on the hand were left far behind so far as the campaigning in the capital is concerned.
The party failed to open its account last time around in 2015. It is desperately hoping to turn around its fortunes and hence reminding the voters of the 15 year tenure of late Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
