Centre has approved ‘Y’ level security for actress Kangana Ranaut, reported news agency ANI. Y category is a security detail of 11 personnel, including 1 or 2 commandos and police personnel.
The security cover for Kangana comes after her nasty face-off with Shiv Sena where in a her tweet she had compared Mumbai with Pok in her tweet that caused a storm . It drew flak from the Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut demanded that the actor apologise for her comments against Mumbai and Maharashtra. Amidst the spat , Kangana is scheduled to reach Mumbai on 9th September.
The Himachal Pradesh government decided to provide security to Ranaut in the state and is also considering to extend it during her upcoming visit to Mumbai.The chief minister disclosed it while talking to reporters after a BJP legislature party meet in Shimla.
“This is our duty to provide her security as she is a daughter of Himachal Pradesh and a celebrity,” he added.
The actress has been regular in Republic TV and lashing out at the Mumbai police on the Sushant Singh death case and brazenly hurled allegations against various stars in Bollywood .
Her comment of Mumbai like Pok and the silence of former chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Kangana’s Mumbai like comment means BJP endorses her comment.
