A mesmerising collection of poetry “The Vast Empty” by Turiya effortlessly transports readers on an introspective journey through the vast landscapes of human emotions.
The book contains 65 poems that are beautifully written. The book aims to guide readers through a meditative experience, encouraging them to reflect on their inner selves and find tranquility. The exploration of stillness, the beauty of life, and the discovery of one’s own divinity makes The Vast Empty a spiritual and introspective journey.
Through exploring universal themes such as love, loss, and the human condition, Turiya encourages readers to look within themselves and gain a deeper understanding of their own emotions and experiences. The empathy and compassion with which Turiya writes is truly remarkable.

Oasis
Do you know where it exists?
How far will you travel?
How much will you endure In your escape to reality?
Do you know where it is, That place you seek?
Where the sound of your breath Drowns everything else-
The noise, the clutter
The fatigue of life, fear of death.
Or when you goon a hunt For that elusive strand
Of love and passion
Of purpose and meaning Embedded in the tangled heap Of intellect and feeling.
Perhaps what you look for, You think can be found Locking eyes with a stranger In the middle of a crowd?
Or in the freedom of travel On a well-trodden road
When your destination is known But you still take a detour?
My love, how long will you try
To capture your shadow
And wander through your head wrestling your mind
To an ephemeral floor?
When will you realise You’re not your thoughts Nor are you your actions Your existence and purpose Are just an illusion
Part of a sublime imagination.
Truth is, you are deep asleep Just an act or in another’s dream There will come a time
When you will be roused Be touched by grace And open your eyes
To be finally dissolved.
