Seeking to oust the incumbent Vasundhara Raje BJP government in the forthcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan 2018, the Congress party has now according to various media reports released it second list of 32 candidates for the 7 December assembly election in Rajasthan on Saturday.

And to the surprise of many it has fielded former BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister in the late Atal Behari Vajpayee government Jaswant Singh’s son Manvendra Singh against Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje from Jhalrapatan constituency.
Manvendra Had recently quit the BJP and joined the Congress. He had stated that BJP had insulted his father.
The second list was released by the Congress general secretary and in-charge of Rajasthan Mukul Wasnik.
The opposition party had declared 152 candidates in the first list on Thursday night.
BJP faces a tough task to retain its hold as it faces anti- incumbency against the Sachin Pilot led Congress party.
