World number 1 Novak Djokovic came out with all guns blazing as he outclassed his great rival Spaniard Rafael Nadal in the men’s singles final of the Australian Open 2019.
In front of the packed crowd at Melbourne park, Djokovic was sensational as he rattled Nadal with his aggressive game from the start. Nadal looked nervy and tense and did not find his usual fluent game, His forehand was off target and even in the rallies too Novak prevailed .
Novak was simply dominant and powered his way to a 6- 3, 6- 2, 6-3 win. It was his seventh Australian Open title and his 15th career Grand Slam singles title . he moves past the legendary American Pete Sampras’s tally of 14 Grand Slam singles titles.
