That meant that It was a ‘good’ Akshay Kumar vs an ‘evil’ Akshay Kumar at the box office. However, it is now confirmed according to various media reports, that these two films will not clash together. A sigh of relief for die- hard Akshay fans. The superstar put the speculation to rest in an interview recently
In an interview to Mid-Day, Akshay asked, ‘Why would I clash with my own film? It will be either Padman or 2.0.”
But which film would shift its date? “While Padman is a film that I have produced, 2.0 belongs to Shankar, Rajinikanth and Lyca Productions. They will decide whether they want to release the film on Republic Day. If they do, I will postpone Padman and if they don’t, I will go ahead,” the actor said.
