Amidst the IPL 2018 , the BCCI led by chairman of the selectors M S K Prasad in discussions with Skipper Virat Kohli, Head Coach Ravi Shastri and India A coach fomer India skipper and batting legend Rahul Dravid have announced the Indian team for the forthcoming series in England, Ireland. The squads for the India A tours in UK too have been announced.
As Indian skipper Virat Kohli will be away playing in England for his county Surrey, His Deputy in Tests Ajinkya Rahane has been named skipper. Rohit Sharma does not figure in the Test side. Rahane however, has been dropped from the ODI and T20 squads.
