#TATAIPL-2026-37: Sai Sudharsan Smashes 87, Kagiso rabada Bags 3/25 As Gujarat Titans Hammer Chennai Super Kings By 8 Wickets

Gujarat Titans  added two valuable points in their campaign as they beat a struggling five-time winners Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets in  a Tata IPL 2026 encounter. Earlier GT Skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to field first

GT bolwers were on target straight away and did not CSK batters to get away. The men in yellow lost in- form Sanju Samson for 11 , Urvil Patel 4, Sarfaraz Khan 0, Dewald Brevis  2, Shivam Dube 22, Kartik Sharma 15, Jamie Overton 18.  Fortunately for CSK after series of low scores their Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad finally had runs under his belt a unbeaten innings of 74 ( 60 balls, 6 fours, 4 fours) . CSK could manage a modest 158/7 in their  20 overs

GT Bowling :  Mohammed Siraj 1/23 ( 4 overs), Kagiso Rabada 3/25 ( 4 overs)  was brilliant , Manav Suthar 1/22 ( 3 overs), Jason Holder 0/22 ( 4 overs), Arshad Khan 2/43 ( 4 overs), Rashid Khan 0/21 ( 1 over)

In Reply GT were in crusie mode . Opener Sai Sudharsan led the  chase with a blazing innings of 87 ( 46 balls , 4 fours, 7 sixes), Skipper Shubman Gill  33 ( 23 balls , 1 four , 3 sixes) . These re the two wickets  CSK could get .  Jos Buttler not out 39 ( 30 balls , 4 fours, 1 six) , Washington Sundar not out 1 saw GT home in style with a convincing win . GT reaching 162/2 in 16. 4 overs
