Defending Champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru continued their impressive form in Tata IPl 2026 as they successfully chased down stiff total by Gurajat Titans to win by 5 wickets . Earlier RCB won the toss and opted to bowl

GT got off to great strat with openers – Skipper Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan . The duo were impressive as they put on 128-1, 12.4 overs. The paltform was set fror big total , Shubman Gill was out for 32 ( 22 balls 2 fours 1 six), Jos Buttler 25 ( 16  balls 2 fours 1 six) .

The star of the  GT innings was opener Sai Sudharsan who hit  superb ton 100 ( 58 balls, 11 fours , 5 sixes). It was a superb innings at the top .  Later on Washington Sundar not out 19 ( 12 balls  1 four  1 six), jason Holder not out 23 ( 10 balls 1 fours 2 sixes) ensured GT finished on a high with 205/3 in their 20 overs.

RCB Bowling :  Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/31 ( 4 overs), Josh Hazlewood 1/40 ( 4 overs). Rasikh Salam Dar 0/28 ( 3 overs), Krunal Pandya 0/50 ( 4 overs), Romario Shepherd 0/17 ( 1 over), Suyash Sharma 1/36 ( 4 overs)

Chasing 206 for win RCB lost opener Jacob Bethell early for 14 . ‘Chase master’ Virat Kohli made the GT pay for the  dropped catch with yet another masterclass knock to put RCB on course for win  81 ( 44 balls , 8 fours, 4 sixes) , Virat was ably supported by equally impressive Devdutt Padikkal 55 ( 27 balls 2 fours 5 sixes). Virat and Padikkal partnership took the game away for GT .

Skipper Rajat Patidar 8, Jitesh Sharma 10 fell cheaply . But Tim David not out 10 and Krunal Panday not out 23 ensured no further wickets as they took the  RCB home in front of a delighted home crowd . RCB reaching 206/5 in 18. 5 overs
