#TATAIPL-2026-17 : Punjab Kings Display Batting Fire-Power To Beat Sunrisers Hyderabad By 6 wickets , Shreyas Iyer, Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh Shine With Blazing Fifties

Punjab Kings produced a  super all- round show to beat a struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets in a high- scoring Tata IPl 2026 encounter . PUnjab Kings Skipper Shreyas Iyer won the  toss and opted to field first.

SRH got off to a flier  with their two openers Travis Head and  Abhishek Sharma racing to total of  120-1, 8.1 overs threatening a big toal . Head was out for 38 ( 23 balls , 5 fours, 1 six), Skipper Ishan Kishan 27 ( 17 balls 3 fours, 1 six), in- from Heinrich Klassen  39 ( 33 balls  , 1 six), Aniket Verma 18 , Salil Arora 9. Abhishek  Sharma was brilliant with his 74 ( 28 balls , 5 fours 8 sixes).  Nitish Kumar Reddy not out 0 , Harsh Dubey not out 1. SRH posting an impressive 2 19 /5 in their 20 overs .

Punjab Bowling was tested : Arshdeep Singh  2/50 ( 4 overs), Xavier Bartlett 1/42 ( 4 overs), Marco Jansen 0/40 ( 4 overs), Vijaykumar Vyshak 0/33 ( 2 overs), Shashank Singh 2/20 ( 3 overs), Yuzvendra Chahal 0/32 ( 3 overs)

With regular skipper and fast bolwing talisman Pat Cummins not available SRH bowling lookeda tad weak . It was this  weakness that Punjab Kings exposed well with an explosive an explosive start chasing 220. Punjab openers – Priyansh Arya was scintillating in his fiery 57 ( 20 balls 5 fours, 5 sixes) his fellow partner Prabhsimran Singh gave admirable support with a equallly fine knock of 51 ( 25 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes). The duo tore the SRH bowling with superb opening stand  99-1, 6.2 overs .

The stage was perfectly set .  Punjab Skipper Shreyas Iyer gave the finishing touches to the splendid chase scoring an unbeaten 33 ball  69  (  5 fours, 5 sixes), Nehal Wadhera out for 14, Cooper Connolly 11,  but Shashnk Singh not out 16 along with Iyer saw Punjab home in style reaching 223/4 in 18. 5 overs.
