#TATAIPL-2024-57 : Scintillating Batting By Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head Power Sunrisers Hyderabad To A Massive 10-Wicket Win Over Lucknow Super Giants

After the loss to MI in the previous match, Sunrisers Hyderabad bounced back in devastating fashion as they routed Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets in a Tata IPL 2024 encounter at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.

Earlier . LSG Skipper  K L Rahul won the toss and opted to bat first . SRH bowlers kept them under control and backed by fine fielding. LSG found the going tough . Opener Quinton de Kock  did not last long out for 2 . Big hitting and in- from Marcus Stoinis fell for 3 . Skipper K L Rahul  looked slow and was out for 29. LSG were struggling.

Krunal Pandya promoted up the  batting order tied hard to accelerate the scoring scoring 24 before he was run- out by a brilliant throw by SRH Skipper pat Cummins.  Nicholas Pooran not out 48 ( 26  balls, 6 fours, 1 six) and Ayush Badoni  not out 55 ( 30 balls, 9 fours ) gave LSG total some respectability from where they were tottering. LSG eventually managing to reach 165/ 4 in their 20 overs

SRH bowling figures : Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2/ 12 ( 4 overs) , Pat Cummins 1/ 47 ( 4 overs) , Shahbaz Ahmed 0/ 9 ( 2 overs), Vijayakanth Viyaskanth0/ 27 ( 4 overs) , Jaydev Unadkat 0/ 19 ( 2 overs), T Natarajan 0/ 50 ( 4 overs) a tab bit off in this match.

In reply SRH made mockery of the chase. It what is perhaps the most most devastating batting prowess in the IPL history . SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head  sent the LSG bowlers on a leather hunt with a unbelievable batting prowess. The duo put on an astonishing  167 / 0 in just 10 overs.  LSG bowlers and Skipper K L Rahul could watch the absolute carnage .

It is the most convincing victory in Tata IPL 2024 and one in history as well .  Abhishek Sharma  was not out  75 ( 28 balls , 8 fours ,  6 sixes) while  the  explosive Travis Head was not out with a blazing  89 ( 30 balls, 8 fours, 8 sixes) . SRH reaching 167/ 0 in 9. 4 overs. It was demolition at it’s best .

The rampaging duo hit 14 sixes  and 16 fours in  the brutal carnage. It was batting of high class and quality . Simply  breathtaking to watch.

A win that  boost SRH net  run- rate and  play- offs slot now with 14 points further strengthened .  SRH has been the  team this year with their fearless approach and led astutely by 2023 ICC 50-over World Cup winning  Australian skipper Pat Cummins.
