#India-NewZealand2ndODI : Indian Bowlers Auqib Nabi, Gurnoor Brar , Anshul Kamboj And Cool K L Rahul Help India Snatch A Thrilling 4-Run Win Over New Zealand By D/L Method

Very much like the first match Indian bowlers came out out with yet another fine  show to help India snatch a thrilling 4 run win by D/L method against New Zealand in the second ODI of the five- match series .  India has now taken a commanding 2- 0 lead in the series .

Earlier  India Skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first . And Gill was delighted again as he bowlers  once again rattle d the host New Zealand and bundeled them out for a a dismal 134/10  in 41 overs in a match reduced to 47 overs due to rain .

The New Zealand batting flopped yet again at their backyard . Jammu and Kashmir seamer Auqib Nabi bowling  a superb spell sent back both the Kiwi openers – Will Young 6, Time Siefert 0 . The double blow rocked the Black Caps .  Henry Nicholls 11, Tom Latham 7, in- form Glenn Phillips 0 with the Kiwi total  at 53-5, 20  .

Skipper Mitchell Santner 31 and Daryl Mitchell 55 were the only batsmen who showed intent to stay in the middle rest put up a poor show . Natha Smith 3 , Kyle Jamieson 7, Blair Tickner 2 , Jacob Duffy not out 1.

It was ths second straight game that he New Zealand batting collpased .  India seamers were on top with regular wickets and that hurt the kiwis big time .

India Bowling :  Arshdeep Singh 0/16 ( 7 overs), Auqib Nabi 2/31 ( 7 overs) , Anshul Kamboj 2/25 ( 8 0vers) , Gurnoor Brar 4/30 ( 10 overs), Axar Patel 2/28 ( 9 overs)

In reply ,  India lost Skipper Shubman Gill early for 0 . Rohit Sharma threatened to score big but fell for 28 ( 23 balls 2 fours, 2 sixes). Virat Kohli was out for 7. Shreyas Iyer 30 , Axar Patel 7 . India were making  a mess of the moderate chase of 135 . Naman Dhir 12 , Anshul Kamboj 1 .

New Zealand’s seamers, however, made India work hard for victory, with regular wickets by Jacob Duffy and an impressive Kyle Jamieson bot took 3 wickets  each

Fortunately for India as wickets fell around  in a flash  K L Rahul kept his cool and held his nerve to stay on till the end till the rain intervened  . K L Rahul was not out 26 ( 38 balls 2 fours , 2 sixes) , Auqib Nabi not out 1 . India  before the rain came again were at 113/7 ( 26 overs)  .

New Zealand Bowling  : Jacob Duffy 3 /35 ( 7 overs) , Kyle Jamieson 3/35   ( 10 overs), Nathan Smith 0/19 ( 5 overs) , Matthew Fisher 1/23 ( 4 overs) . Kiwi bolwers gave it all but their batsmen let them down.

Kiwi Skipper Micthell Santner will have  tough ask bouncing from 0-2 down  in the series. India  on the other hand would be pleased with their showing in both matches and will eye series win in Hamilton on 10th November surely.
