Will Out-Going CJI Dipak Misra Give Verdict On Ram Mandir And Other Cases Before His Retires?

It has been announced that Justice Ranjan Gogoi will be the new Chief Justice of India and will take oath on October 3. But the current incumbent Dipak Misra who , has had an eventful tenure including surviving an attempt of impeachment will have his hands full in his last days as CJI.

The CJI headed benches is likely to give verdicts on many tricky issues namely the validity of the Aadhaar scheme , the entry of women in the sabarimala temple barred till now, Reservations in SC? ST in promotions and the Ram Mandir Issue.

The court will also decide whether the title suit be heard by a regular bench or a five-judge constitution bench. The Muslim litigants have insisted on the latter.

As the country heads towards General Elections  in 2019 the verdict on the  Ram Temple is eagerly awaited as it is has major political implications .
