There seems to no end to the miserable run of the Mumbai Indians at the Tata IPL 2022. They lost their 8th match in row this time to the Lucknow Super Giants by 36 runs at the Wankhede stadium. The venue they love. Yet the change of venue did not bring any such luck.
Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and fielded first . LSG lost Quinton de Kock for 10. Manish Pandey ( 22) , Marcus Stoinis ( 0), Krunal Pandya ( 1). As wicket fell around him LSG skipper K L Rahul was unfazed and slammed his second ton against the same opponent in this season . It was masterclass innings of 103 not out , the 62 ball knock had 12 fours and four sixes. Deepak Hooda ( 10), Ayush Badoni ( 14) enabled LSH reach a modest 168/ 6 in their 20 overs.
