#TATAIPL-2026-67 : Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan , Heinrich Klaasen Fire Sunrisers Hyderabad To A 55- Run Win Over Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Sunrisers Hyderabad finished their legue games of  the TataIPL 2026 in convincing fashion as they beat defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 55 runs . Earlier SRH Skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma led the SRH charge . Head  was the first to go for a quick 26 ( 16 balls 5 fours)  with the total 45-1, 4 overs. Abhishek on the other hand was aggressive as usual and despite enjoying some dropped catches raced to 56 ( 22 balls , 4 fours , 5 sixes) . Abhishek fell when the total was  97-2, 8.2 overs.

Then for SRH came the accelerator with in- form duo of Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen . Kishan in sublime form smashed 79 ( 46 balls , 8 fours, 3 sixes) .

Klaasen on the other hand showed his brute power as he powered his way to yet another blazing innings of 51 ( 24 balls 2 fours, 5 sixes). All- rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy gave the finishing touched with a quick unbeaten cameo 29 ( 12 balls , 1 four, 3 sixes) as SRH finished with an imposing total of 255/4 in their 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Bowling : Bhuvneshwar Kumar 0/51 ( 4 overs), Josh Hazlewood 0/55 ( 4 overs), Rasikh Salam Dar 2/52 ( 4 overs), Suyash Sharma 1/36 ( 3 overs), Romario Shepherd 0/37 ( 3 overs), Krunal Pandya 1/24 ( 2 overs)

Chasing a daunting 256 total , RCB opened with Venkatesh Iyer and Virat Kohli. Venkatesh was the aggressor at the start of the innings as the duo put o 56-1, 4.3 overs. Iyer was the first out  for 44 ( 19 balls 4 fours, 4 sixes). Virat Kohli was out for 15 , Devdutt Padikkal 21 . The chase looked stiff .. Skipper Rajat Patidar played a fighting knock of 56 ( 39 balls , 6 fours , 1 six).

The target was bit too much . Krunal Pandya not out 41 ( 31 balls 5 fours)  and Tim David not out 15 ( 7 balls 1 four , 1 six)  were at the end as RCB could manage 200/4 in their 20 overs .

RCB will take on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 at Dharamsala on May 26.
