Rasikh Salam Dar not 3 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar not out 7 saw RCB home by two wickets off the last ball. RCB 167/8 in 20 overs. It was a thriller . The defending champions made the required 15 runs off the final over bowled by Raj Bawa, including a six from Bhuvneshwar. The win took RCB to the top of the Indian Premier League table with 14 points from 11 matches.
