Placed at the bottom of the points table Lucknow Super Giants finally managed a win after six losses as they beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 9 runs (D/L ) method in a TataIPL 2026 encounter,
Earlier RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first . LSG were given a flying start , their best of the season by Australia’s T20 Skipper Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni 95-1, 9.2 overs, Marsh doing the bulk of the early damage. Kulkarni was out for 17.

In reply , RCB were rocked early with both openers – Jacob Bethell (4) and Virat Kohli a rare failure ( 0) bowled by Prince Yadav and the total 9-2, 1.2 overs. Devdutt Padikkal 34, Rajat Patidar 61 ( 31 balls 3 fours, 6 sixes) , Tim David 40 ( 17 balls , 4 fours, 3 sixes) kept them in thent but that tagert was a stiff one at the end . Jitesh Sharma 1.
