#TATAIPL-2026-29 : Priyansh Arya, Cooper Connolly Produce Sensational Batting Onslaught, Help Punjab Kings Rout Lucknow Super Giants By Whopping 54 Runs

Punjab Kings produced yet another clinical performance to rout Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs in a Tata IPL 2026 encounter at Mullanpur to mantain their unbeaten run this season. Earlier LSG won the toss and opted to field first.

LSG got ane eraly brteakthrough as in- from Prabhsimran Singh was out for 0. But what followed later was carnage to which LSG bolwers had simply no answer. Punjab duo  of opener  Priyansh Arya and Aussie batting hope Cooper Connolly produced a breath-taking partnership of 182 runs. It was run riot of fours and sixes . LSG Skipper Rishabh Pant could only watch with  awe from behind the onslaught.

Arya smashed 93 ( 37 balls , 4 fours, 9 sixes), Connolly too joined the party hitting  a blazing  87 ( 46 balls, 8 fours, 7 sixes) and fell when the total was  185-2, 13.5 overs . There was a  rare failure from Punjab Skipper Shreyas Iyer 5 , Nehal Wadhera 13 , Shashank Singh 17 and Marcus Stoinis hit some big maximums as well in his 29 ( 16 balls, 2 fours 2 sixes) as Punjab hit a massive 254/7 in their 20 overs, Marco Jansen was not out 1. The big score brought smile on the face of Punjab head coach the legendary Ricky Ponting.

LSG Bowling :    Mohammed Shami 1/56 ( 4 overs), Mohsin Khan 1/43 ( 4 overs), Prince Yadav 2/25 ( 4 overs) in the carnage this was impressive figures, Ayush Badoni 0/14 ( 1 over), Avesh Khan 0/46 ( 3 overs), Manimaran Siddharth 2/35 ( 3 overs), Aiden Markram 0/32 ( 1 over)

For LSG the target  255 was a way bit too much . Openers Mitchell Marsh 40 ( 28 balls , 3 fours 2 sixes), Ayush Badoni 35 ( 21 balls , 5 fours 1 six), Skipper Rishabh Pant 43 ( 23 balls , 1 four, 4 sixes), Nicholas Pooran failed yet again out 9 , His place in the eleven now under serious scutiny.  Aiden Markram 42 ( 22 Balls , 3 fours , 3 sixes) . Mukul Choudhary not out 21 ( 17 balls 1 four , 1 six) and Himmat Singh not out 1. LSG could manage 200/5 in their 20 overs. Punjab Batting blitaz  had blown them away.
