Earlier DC Skipper Axar Patel won the toss and asked KKR to bat first . KKR were off to a flier with openers – Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine . KKR were 48/ 1 in 2.6 overs . Rahmanullah Gurbaz was aggressive 26 ( 12 balls, 5 fours, 1 six), Narine next to be dismissed at 85/ 2 in 6. 4 overs . But not before Narine scored 27 ( 16 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes). The KKR intent was clear from the start.
Skipper Ajinkya Rahane 26 ( 14 balls, 4 fours, 1 six), talented Angkrish Raghuvanshi 44 ( 32 balls, 3 fours, 2 sixes) carried on the momentum. Venkatesh Iyer flopped again another low score of (7) . Iyer’s Rs 23 crore price tag has become a talk of the season.

DC Skipper Axar Patel scored 43 ( 23 balls, 4 fours, 3 sixes) , Ashutosh Sharma another flop show ( 7). Vipraj Nigam played a quick cameo 38 ( 19 balls , 5 fours, 2 sixes), Mitchell Starc ( 0). Dushmantha Chameera not out 2 and Kuldeep Yadav not out 1. DC managing 190/ 9 in their 20 overs. KKR winning by 14 runs and bagging vitals two points.
