It’s history ! 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi etched his name in IPL record books by becoming the youngest player ever to score a IPL hundred. It was his heroics ( second fastest hundred too) that helped Rajasthan Royals beat Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets in a Tata IPL 2025 encounter in Jaipur.

Earlier RR skipper Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to bowl first . And GT batsmen in great form put up an impressive total . Skipper Shubman Gill led from the front . Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill laid the foundation with a 93 runs for the first wicket in 10. 2 overs . Sai Sudharsan was first out for 39 ( 30 balls, 3 fours, 1 six) .

Gill was dominant with his classy 84 ( 50 balls , 5 fours, 4 sixes) unfortunately missed out a hundred . Jos Buttler in splendid form finished unbeaten on 50 ( 26 balls, 3 fours, 4 sixes). GT lost wickets of Washington Sundar ( 13) , Rahul Tewatia ( 9). GT 2019/ 4 in their 20 overs. The GT total looked good but RR at end had the last laugh which GT never anticipated .

In reply, GT never anticipated the storm as RR batsmen blazed away sensationally . RR openers – Yashasvi Jaiswal and 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi took the GT bowling to the cleaners with fantastic batting. It left GT bowlers and Skipper Shubman Gill shell- shocked . It was scintillating batting all the way . The duo smashed a stunning 166 for the first wicket in 11. 5 overs .

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the star with a breathtaking 101 ( 38 balls , 7 fours, 11 sixes) he was the first wicket to fall. Nitish Rana was out for ( 4) . These were two wickets RR lost in the terrific chase .

Yashasvi Jaiswal overshadowed by Vaibhav remained unbeaten with a fine 70 ( 40 balls, 9 fours, 2 sixes) . RR Skipper Riyan Parag was not out 32 ( 15 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes) as RR Chased down the GT total in style finishing at 212/ 2 in 15. 5 overs.
