Standing Firm : Mamata Banerjee Writes Letter To Prime Minister Narendra Modi Says Not Releasing Chief Secretary

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to request the Centre rescind its orders recalling the state chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay to Delhi.

‘West Bengal government can’t release and is not releasing its chief secretary at this critical hours,’ Banerjee has said.

‘Shocked and stunned by unilateral order’ recalling chief secretary, Mamata Banerjee has written in her letter to the PM.

‘Presume the earlier order by the Centre made in consultation with state government to extend the chief secretary’s tenure for three months from June 1, stands, she said in her letter to Modi.

The Centre’s move to recall the Chief secretary was slammed by opposition leaders .
