Prime Minister Narendra Modi Takes On Opposition With Corruption Jibe ; But BJP Part Of Conrad Sangma Govt Termed Most Corrupt By Amit Shah
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has linked opposition parties coming together against the BJP to his government’s campaign against corruption and said “anti-India” forces are attacking constitutional institutions — the strong foundation of a rising India — to stall the country’s growth.
The crackdown on the corrupt and corruption will continue without being hindered by “false allegations”, he said after inaugurating an extension of the BJP headquarters , asserting that people are happy with the action and keep telling him “Don’t stop Modi ji”.
At a time when India’s strength is rising to a new high, it is natural that “anti-India” forces within and outside the country will join hands, he said.
Interestingly Prime Minister Narendra Modi seem to have forgotten Home Minister Amit Shah’s jibe at NPP leader and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma before the assembly Polls.
Shah during one of the rallies termed Sangma government most corrupt . But soon after the assembly results BJP with 2 MLA’s joined the Conrad Sangma Government in Meghalaya .
