After India crashed out of the 2019 World Cup losing to New Zealand by 18 runs at Old Trafford, Manchester in the semi-finals bringing their fine campaign to an end , Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram, tweeted their support for team India and lauded their fine performance .
India had lost one league game in the whole tournament to England .
