#Kerala : Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Confirms Two Death By Nipah Virus
Two deaths reported from Kerala’s Kozhikode district were caused by Nipah virus, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said .
As per PTI report, He said a central team of experts has been sent to Kerala to take stock of the situation and assist the state government in the management of the Nipah virus infection.

According to official sources, samples of four more people from Kerala have been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune to test for the deadly virus.
On suspected Nipah virus case in the state, Kerala Health Minister Veena George told ANI “The results of samples which were sent to the Pune Virology Lab after suspecting the Nipah virus will be received by evening. We have already made a list of contacts of the people who have lost their lives so far. Nipah virus has not been announced officially, we are taking all preventive steps.”
