India produced a flawless all- round game  in the first T20I against South Africa to win by a massive 101 runs in front of a packed house  at Barabati Stadium Cuttuck

Earlier South Africa Skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and pted to bowl first . And his bolwers did well to restrict the powerful  India batting line-up to modesta target of 175 / 6 in their 20 overs.  Dangerous Abhishek Sharma threatened to break loose but was out for 12 ball 17 . Back in side after missing the ODI’s with injury Shubman Gill flopped out for mere 4. India Skipper Suryakumar Yadav’s lean patch continued out for 12 . Tilak Varma ( 26), Axar Patel ( 23) chipped in with valuable runs.

But the Indian innings momentum was rasied by a back in the side all- rounder Hardik Pandya who scored in what turned out to be an match- winning unbeaten knock a 28 ball 59 ( 6 fours, 4 sixes). Shivam Dube was out for 11 . Jitesh Sharma wicket- keeper not out 10  .

South Africa bowling figures  :  Lungi Ngidi 3/31 ( 4 overs)  was impressive. Marco Jansen 0/23 ( 4 overs), Lutho Sipamla 2/38 ( 4 overs) , Anrich Nortje 0/41( 4 overs), Keshav Maharaj 0/25 ( 2 overs), Donovan Ferreira 1/13 ( 2 overs)
