Indigo Plane Fire : DGCA Takes Serious Note ; To Conduct Detailed Probe Into The Incident
Aviation regulator the Directorate General of Civil Aviation will conduct a detailed investigation to ascertain the cause of the Bengaluru-bound IndiGo plane’s one of the engines catching fire at Delhi airport at the time of taxiing on Friday night.
The DGCA said that a suitable follow-up action shall be taken in the matter.

“IndiGo A320-Ceo aircraft VT-IFM operating flight 6E-2131 (Delhi-Bengaluru) was involved in reject takeoff as Engine 2 Fail warning came. Loud bang was heard. Fire extinguisher bottle was discharged. Aircraft returned to bay. It has been grounded for inspection,’ said DGCA.
